Firstly, I would like to applaud you for making judicious use of your time by choosing to attend IMUN - one of the blessings born out of this pandemic. This conference aims to connect participants from around the world to engage in fruitful debate and find solutions together while helping them nurture the various skillsets involved with diplomacy, despite the trials and tribulations this year brought us. The relationships established here transcend racial boundaries, cultures and beliefs and gives us an opportunity to learn to work in unison with people from diverse backgrounds - a relative advantage of an online conference.

Our exceptionally diligent and dedicated organizing committee has organised a conducive environment for productive and spirited debate about the given agendas. 

I would like to express my gratitude to those who have accompanied us throughout the last four editions- who took this initiative to what it is today. 

We look forward to having all participants take our initiative forward.
